Aashiqui 2 review..

Aashiqui 2
Dir:Mohit Suri
Main Cast:Aditya Roy Kapoor,Shraddha Kapoor
Dur:2hr13mins
Was expecting a lot from this film.So went for the first day, first show.Yes,The film fulfills all expectation quiet well.
AASHIQUI 2 traces the journey of
a young couple and the
turbulence in their lives... Rahul
[Aditya Roy Kapur], a singing
sensation, presently lost in addiction of alcohol, falls in love with the
voice of Aarohi [Shraddha
Kapoor], who aspires to be a
singer and sings at lowly joints.
Rahul takes it upon himself to
make Aarohi a singing star,
builds her confidence and even
arranges for her audition with
the music baron [Mahesh
Thakur]. Gradually, Rahul and
Aarohi fall in love...
Aarohi's career continues to sky-
rocket, while Rahul's career
spirals downwards. Aarohi
decides to give up her career to
be with Rahul, to help him come
out of his disruptive
predicament...
Rahul understood the situation. He thought he was creating problem on her way of success. So he suicides.
Vivek(Rahul's friend) told Aarohi that Rahul sacrifices his life for her success.
The film ends with a really heart touching scene, hard to describe.
The music is the main weapon of the film. All the songs are superb.Tum Hi Ho,Sunn Raha Hai,Chahun main ya na,Hum Maar Jayenge,Bhula Dena all were fantastic.
Shraddha and Aditya did very well.

Movie Review:Goynar Bakso

Truly saying I went to watch Nautanki Saala but due to fault in my timing I missed that.Thats why I went to another nearby theatre to watch 'Goynar Bakso'
Direction:Aparna Sen
Main Cast:Konkona Sen Sharma,Mousumi Chatterjee,Srabanti, Saswato Chatterjee
Duration:141minutes
After lots of great movies this is another jewel in Aparna Sen's
own Jewellery box of creations with
the nice presentation, based on a
story, written by famous Shirshendu
Mukhopadhyay. The story revolves
around a widow and her
'Goynar
Bakso' which is passed on to
three generations of her family This wasn't easy
for 'Pishima' (Mousumi
Chatterjee)as, the box was the
center of her world after the death
of her husband, when she was
12. Even after her death, she
haunts her next generation, to
ensure, it does not fall in the
wrong hands and got sold in the
market .She trusts the box with
Somlata (Konkona Sensharma), but
was angry when she discovered
Somlata had stolen  some of her
jewellery to start up a business for
her husband (Saswata Chatterjee).
She curses Somlata, hits also at first but became happy when she found out
the saree store that was set up had her
name on it. Everything was
going fine till a unknown man
(Koushik Sen) was found stalking
Somlata on her way back home.
When Pishima insisted Somlata to
get involved with him she refused but
on repeated insists, she met him on
her way back home. Later it was
found out that, the man was a poet
and he had committed suicide
after failing in love
with Somlata. 10 months after the
incident Somlata's daughter Chaitali
(Srabonti Chatterjee), the narrator
of the story, was born. Somlata
was shocked when she found out
Chaitali looked much alike Pishima.
Pishima, who at first was only
visible to Somlata, is now visible
only to Chaitali and Somlata who
thought Chaitali to be the
reincarnation of Pishima gave the 'Goynar Bakso' to her,
stating everything is in order. When
Chaitali was a college student, East
Pakistan's war of independence in the year 1971,
broke out. It was found out,
Chaitali was in a romantic
relationship with one of the
Leader of the freedom fighters.
She doubts how long for the
freedom fighters could continue war as the dont have money. It was
then Pishima handed over the
jewellery box to Chaitali for their
support.
Awesome acting performance by
Konkona Sensharma and Mousumi
Chatterjee made the audience dumbed. The
Pishima Somlata duo adds the
comedy to the film with
Pishima's humorous activities and
Somlata's introvert and shy nature.
Besides them, all the other actors
have done their best job, especially
Paran Bandyopadhya,Saswata
Chatterjee and Pijush Ganguly.
The film merely have two songs, one raga and another Chorus.
The cinematography was good.Editing by Rabiranjan Maitra was good. Overall, a nice film.

My Rating--3.5/5

Plasma wind tunnel test on 1 : 28
scaled model of Human Spaceflight
Program (HSP) Crew Module (CM)
To demonstrate the performance
and to evaluate the erosion
characteristics of the Thermal
Protection System (TPS) material,
plasma wind tunnel test on the Crew
Module (CM) of HSP was carried out
at the 6 MW high enthalpy facility
at VSSC.
During re-entry at high velocities,
the compression of air around the
re-entry capsules results in extreme
thermal environment. At such high
temperature, which would be of the
order of 6000 K to 10000 K, the air
gets dissociated and ionised and gets
into a hyper reactive state. Light
weight, high performance Thermal
Protection System (TPS) is employed
to protect the vehicle in such
hostile environment. Plasma wind
tunnel facility is established to
simulate the re-entry thermal
regimes for the qualification of TPS.
In the PWT facility, an air stream is
converted into plasma at
temperature ranging from 8000 K to
10000 K. Scaled down models of the
TPS is exposed to the plasma stream
in a test chamber, where pressure
corresponding to the altitude also is
simulated. Thus the performance of
TPS, at the conditions prevailing at
the time of reentry, is evaluated.

Himmatwala is Flop in BO

Sajid Khan’s remake of
1980s movie
Himmatwala failed at the box
office. The movie could not make
an impression.
The film, with Ajay Devgn
and Tammannaah Bhatia in the
lead, managed to collect only
Rs 32 crore in the 1st weekend.
Sajid Khan, who had said“ I can
never make a flop film” should must think about such remake in future. After Sajid’s
hit comedies like Heyy
Babbyy and Housefull series, everyone  expected that Himmatwala will be a Hit.

But predictions gone in vain as the film is
unsuccessful and unfortunate
flop at the box office in its
opening weekend.
Himmatwala collected approx Rs
31.5 crore nett in its opening
weekend. Breakup: Friday 12.1
crore, saturday 8.5 crore,
Sunday 10.5 crore, acorrding to expert Taran Adarsh's

Confused between Galaxy s duos and Micromax canvas2??

Being a middleclass Indian buying a phone of 10000-15000 is almost enough. In this range two great phones are Samsung Galaxy S duos and Micromax canvas2.Lots of people are confused between this.So I am trying to help you with my negligable knowledge...
1)Galaxy s duos has 4inch screen where Canvas2 offers you 5inch.
2)S duos runs on a 1 Ghz single core processor where Canvas2 offers same speed dual core processor. So canvas2 performs better.
3)S duos have 5MP rear cam and VGA front cam but Canvas2 will give you 8MP camera and same front cam.
4) Both run on IceCream Sandwich version 4.0 but canvas2 offers you upgradation to jelly bean.
5)Canvas2 's weight is almost 50grams more than galaxy s duos.
6)Most off all Canvas2's price is almost 3000 less than S duos.
7)Galaxy S duos gives you more RAM than Canvas2.
8)After a hard toil samsung has got a great reputation but Micromax still below them. But this micromax phone offers you quality.
-- Regarding these facts I will say the final choice is yours.
